So far...

So far this weekend has been busy. As a chubby lazy girl I like to spend Friday pm to Sunday pm eating and sleeping and watching TV. But Friday I had to stay at school late (don't ask) and got home about 6 and we were leaving at 7:30 to go to Jared's college friends house, where i knew no one. We got there and Johnathan's house was very cute! Its in Merriman Park near Lake Highlands. Jared and I really like that area. Johnathan and Jared and the rest of the guys there all work for the same construction company. So there was lots of work talk... and lots of me standing alone looking like an idiot. Since I have become allergic to all alcohol I can't drink. Sometimes you just want a cold beer! So I took my medicine and some preventative Benadryl and had a beer... I was good! so I started a second one and got half way through it and my nose went NUTS!!! So I was sneezy, sniffily and gross for the next 4 hours. We left about midnight and came home. I have a crazy habit of being so tired until I lay down then I am wide awake! Luckily Jared was too and we sat in bed and talked for ever. It was so fun! I go to bed earlier than him on "school nights" so it was a treat.

On Wednesday My Mom said "I am going to Canton this weekend." I said "Oh that's fun" Her response was "good you can drive me I need a big car!" So Lauren and I had strict instructions to be at her house by 8:30. We came pretty close, but I was sleep-driving and took the wrong exit and got turned around... but got there about 8:45. I asked what she planned on buying and she said "nothing. I want to go see people" Only Gayle. Some friends from East Texas where we used to live have booths there so its fun to go and see them. Lauren got the cutest purple canisters!!! I got Jared some Styrofoam OU cups. Gayle got some green tulle for her Christmas tree. But the best purchases were the Corney Dogs, Lemonade and Grape Snow Cones!!!
On our way home we stopped in the new "super subdivision" near my parents where all the houses are 400,000 to 500,000 dollars! They are like nothing I have ever seen! The first one was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! They were very well decorated too. Upstairs was a girls room with lime green and grass green stripped walls and pink frilly bedding. We went down the hall to the boys room and ti had camo bedspreads and was green and had "Nnaman Forrest Rangers" painted on the wall. That's the neighborhood high school, and where KEvie went. We started looking around and there were football picture frames and Lauren glanced at one and picked it up and IT WAS KEVIN!!!! He was in his football uniform and squatting on the field looking at the camera!!! Then above one of the beds was a picture of the team captains with Kevin right in front!!! It was so funny! we asked the man who decorated it and he said the builders wife and Mom said THAT'S MY SON!!!! and He laughed and said that the lady had no Garland connections, but still I was funny!
Jared is in the "Man Zone" after OU lost in the last :02 seconds and is fixing MY last project. Nonna gave Mom who eventually gave me a cool buffet. I sanded it and Jared this morning replaced the top with new wood. (not sure why) But it looks good. I do not want to do ANYTHING tonight!!! I want to do laundry and be lazy!!!

Because we are leaving at 8:30 in the morning for the cowboys game... Most everyone knows I am not a big football fan. Jared asked if I wanted to go and I panicked about being left out so I said yes. (and he promised me I could get a Cowboys shirt to wear) I told him last night to take Justin since I will be bored, sober and whining. but he insisted he wanted me to go. (poor guy- doesn't quite know what he is in for) So that's my fly-by weekend. I miss summer sometimes...
