Anniversary!

Its out one year Anniversary today!!! I cannot believe it has been one year since our wedding. Our wedding was BEAUTIFUL and the reception was one of the funniest parties I have ever been to! In honor of the occasion I am posting some pics from the wedding and reception!

We celebrated ALL weekend! It started Friday night we went with Chris and Caroline to Kerby's on Greenville then across the street to M Street. We had a great time, but realized we were too old to go to Greenville when the new Theta pledge class from SMU all came in costumes with X's on their hands... Why do 18 year olds want to go to a bar????? We stayed up WAY to late, which is fun now and then! Saturday Jared made me omelets and brought me breakfast in bed :) I went to pick up Sprinkle's for my mom's Chi-Omega reunion party and went to Mimi's.

Mimi's is my Mom's mom and 91 years old. She has had a good long life, but I am afraid it is drawing to a quick end. She has been steadily declining the past few years and last week she had another stroke. The hospital dismissed her and ordered Hospice. She woke up Saturday and can't swallow or speak. She tried to talk but you can' t understand a word. She is comfortable and will pass within the week. Please pray for my Mom and Aunt Jodie to have peace with her passing. They lost their Dad about 15 years ago and still miss him greatly. We all know dying is a part of life, but that doesn't make it easier.

Saturday night we went to dinner with Lauren and Clint to Pappadeoux!!! It was the rehearsal dinner anniversary last night so we went to the SAME restaurant (a family fav). It was SO GOOD! we had raw oysters, blue Moon, and LC and I split Crawfish Etuffee with room for the Mason Jar Banana Pudding!!! and I was asleep by 10:00!

This afternoon is House paining day! I taped off the windows and doors and Jared is spraying the sidding and trim of the house from what I call "white-white" to "light khaki" like the car, inside of the House, the dog, the furniture... hahahaha Jared gets so mad when I make "Khaki and White Life" jokes, but they are FUNNY!
