What a week! First we had Kennedy come EARLY Wednesday morning, then Jared's birthday Thursday, Twilight Double Date Night Friday and a Bad football game Saturday!
I surprised Jared with a smoker for his birthday. I may not have the best "wife skills" (cleaning, cooking etc) but I can buy him good presents! If I do say so myself...
Friday night we went with the Henderson's to see Twilight. SO GOOD! Lisa and I both read all 4 books and the guys were not excited about the movie, but everyone liked it! I got uncomfortable about halfway through, could have been the fact I am a whale and the seats were not my couch or that despite Jared's warning I "needed" the Pibb Extra and package of Twizzlers... Someday I will learn to listen to him.
Saturday was the much anticipates Tech and OU game. Tech blew it, but Jared was SO HAPPY!!! I made the stadium cake. I usually put the Powell Pound Cake in it, but branched out this year and made Jared's Aunt Karyn's Chocolate Chip cake and it was a GREAT decision! Everyone LOVED it!
Other than that I have spent lots of time holding little Kennedy. For some reason, when I hold her it makes me so sleepy! I guess because she sleeps and I stare at her, but I nod off every time!
I have all week off for Thanksgiving but Jared has to work till Wednesday afternoon :( I am also afraid I am getting sick so I can't go hold the baby. Even Lauren said "I am glad you like her, I am a little surprised how much you like her!" Maybe that means I wont be petrified of mine when she comes...
