Baby Eve

So this is it.... Last night of not being a parent... I am so excited and so not excited at the same time. I think the un-excitement comes from the unknown and thanks to the birthing class and Lauren going first the known. I went to babies r us today and got the lamb chair swing and the boppy pink vibrating chair. I assembled them both all by my self!

Also rethinking Hadley. Another name on the list was Presley and I am not liking it better, I like the P- Powell. Jared just smiled and says he likes both. My Dad was funny and said we shouldn't name her at all- we should do like the natives and wait till we know her better. His suggestion was Squatting Dog Petter Powell. Doubt that one will fly Curtis... We have allot monogrammed already, but nothing that can't be tweaked... I guess it will be a game time decisions.

Did I mention I am FREAKING OUT! I am having a kid tomorrow. Seriously, Kid. Me. Tomorrow. Wondering if i really thought this through. Babies are scary, breakable and I am responsible for her. What if my kid is the one to cuss at daycare or just be bad in general. Totally going to be my fault. I know Lauren and I were hellians. We have it coming. Sugar (Gayle) would agree I bet, that we deserve the bad kids you see at Walmart throwing a tantrum in the isle because they can't get 3 boxes of cookies. Oh crap.

On a different note, I got Baby Wise today. Just made it to page 10, but like it so far. Tried to read Healthy sleeping habits for happy babies and it made me want to beat my head against the wall. No comprende. I wish the came with manuals.

So this is it. Adios until manana and we are at the hospital. There will be laptops and blogging to pass the time so check back for details, pictures and the name of the baby...
Leaving you with a picture of the final lazy evening snuggling with the first child. SHHH She doesn't know she is a dog. I don;t think Jared realizes it either.
