PEI

Lauren and I were greatly affected with Anne of Green Gables. It made us want red hair, be named Anne WITH AN E! and to visit Prince Edward Island. When we were younger we lived in East Texas and my parent's good friends and the town doctor were the McBeth's. They were from Prince Edward Island! They go visit for a month every year and this year Janet found a hand knit peach sweater with hearts down the side. There was only one in the lady's shop but when Janet explained that she needed another one so both babies could have one the lady said she would make one especially for Janet to have. The problem was Janet's plane was leaving early the next morning! The lady promised Janet she would knit until it was done so Janet would be able to bring BOTH our babies PEI sweaters! We posed them in the sweaters yesterday so we could send Janet pictures. Unfortunately Hadley looks like an Inuit (P.C. term for Canadian Eskimo).
