Memory Lane

I took a trip down memory lane today going threw old attic boxes at my parents house. And there are blackmail possibilities great pictures to re live these events...

In high school every summer we went on a 2 week backpacking trip. Here are Lauren and Ashley shaving Dave's head. He wanted it done, his Mom wouldn't let him at home so he did it when he wouldn't see her for a few weeks.

One of our Christmas card out takes. This says alot about our dysFUNction fun, creative and abnormal lives

Lauren and I had a GREAT youth group at church. We hung out 24/7 in the summers and 95% of the time during school. We would go to Buffalo Springs lake and go camping for a night. I don't know how we talked our parents into this. I guess they knew what we were really up to. And by this I mean singing church songs by the camp fire and telling scary stories. We were strangely behaved kids.
Here is Lauren and Meghan camping. Looks like they are "drinking" but sadly those cups contain milk. We made smores and you have to have milk with smores. Yes our wild and crazy high school nights were at the mini "lake" in Lubbock drinking Milk and singing church songs. I wish everyone could have had the youth group I did. This is one of the things I hope the most for Hadley to have when shes in Jr. High and High School.

We went to TLC and sang, we were good :)

College Siggie Breakfast. Suzanne and I are with our "Big Sig" Ginger!

Our Jr High Birthday parties were cool. MY dads BFF Mike Line lives in Ruidoso and dad would take us and our best friends (we were all 4 good buddies) "camping" I think we actually only spent one night in a tent and our toes were frozen together and when we woke up Dad and Mike we in the car! The next year Dad was deathly sick and Mike had to entertain 4 14 year old girls for 3 days!

I had forgotten about the LTC thing. Very funny to me as I would NEVER do that now (sing in public and be JUDGED for it).
