Last night we went to see John Mayer with a group of our friends. Company was great! John Mayer was... there. He is not lacking self esteem. I expected a little more from him than just playing through his hit songs. I share the generic man's feelings on the show.
After the show I saw my life flash before my eyes!
We left before the end because we are old and sick Had was at my Moms. We were walking down the big 5 lane street by the parking garage and we heard a wreck. Then we see an out of control red truck barrelling towards us. It clipped a couple trees but was still heading right to us! Jared grabbed me and said RUN RUN!!!! I dropped my purse and ran for my life! Shortly after I trip and am so focused on running I don't put my hands out. I fall and see the truck wrap itself around a tree 5 feet from me. Then I feel terrible pain in my skull and shoulder. I see my torso is all scratched up and bleeding... Then I start crying. Jared is charging after the truck driver yelling nasty things at him. The cop runs over and thinks I have been hit by the truck and we have to say, no I just fell down. I see my future of being in the retirement home and falling and Jared having to pick me up and put my back into my wheel chair... But I know how it feels to fall now. Ouch! Head is better today, but my shoulder is killing me and my hip is bruised and scabbed.
On another note, Hadley has recovered from her pink eye, ear infection and busted ear drum but now has another virus that has kept her out of school all week...

that is ridiculously scary! we were leaving a concert last night and i was jumpy in the parking lot just thinking about your story. glad you're okay!
