Spring Break

Teachers don't get many bonuses. Defiantly not monetary ones! One of the "rewards" besides shaping and molding the future are our breaks (Christmas, spring break and SUMMER)! Since Hadley was sick last week and Jared had a really busy week at work, I had to stay home almost all week. I don't know how "stay-at-homes" do it. It is defiantly easier to go to work. Hadley was very tired and just wanted to lay in my bed or the couch and snuggle. Those are two of my favorite things: napping and snuggling. Then this week was spring break!

Monday: Hadley went to school and I ran out of gad on the way to the gym and had to wait for Jared to bring me some. I was (of course) on the highest ramp of George Bush over looking 75, not fun. I got gas and ran my errands, cooked some dinner and picked Had up early. I left the entree on the counter until J got home to bake it and Molly ate it, shattering the casserole dish all over the kitchen.

Tuesday: Hadley went to school so i could clean. Cleaning ended right as she was going down for a nap so I napped too. Picked her up early and we went to Lifetime to swim.

Wednesday: Had went to school for 2 hours while I was at the dentist and we went to Corsicana! We had such a great time seeing Nonna and eating at OMI (Old Mexican Inn). Aunt Caroline, Steely and Paxton came by and then Courtney, Melissa and cute little Frankie! I love having so many cousins! Its so fun to see them all, I wish I saw them all more.

Thursday: Mom and Dad came back into town! We played with Sugar and Big and went Swimming again. I went to Girls Dinner at Blue Goose, YUM!

Friday: it was BEAUTIFUL! We met Lauren and Nods for breakfast and came home to play. We picked up a mirror for my Mom and delivered it after nap time and stayed all afternoon. We are so lucky they live near by. Jared was watching basketball with his buddies in Frisco and while we were deciding what to do for dinner on the phone, Sugar said you should go meet Jared and leave Hadley with us. YES!!! So Had spent the night and Jared and I went to VC for basketball. And by basketball I mean beer and socialness, little sports (whew!) My outfit caught some slack but it was cute! Khaki safari shirt dress from Old Navy (too short for someone my age and shade of pastyness) and snake skin gladiators.

Saturday: we picked up Had and Shug had waffles and coffee YUM. Came home and napped and have just played all afternoon.

Tomorrow (depending on if the snow stops) we will go to church and hopefully Had and I can go swim again!

side note on swimming: I usually don't like baby bikini's. But I got Had the cutest one today! Pics coming soon :)
