17 Months

My little Haddie J is almost 1.5 years old. She seems so grown up lately. Kennedy has moved up to the next age group class at school and Had is sad without her. The teachers say she cries and calls for "Nod's!!!" when she goes. I hear "H!" and "No!" a gazillion times a day. Everyone under 5 feet tall is a "Bay-Bee" and we just learned "YESSS" She says it slow and slowly nods her head up and down. Milk sounds like Milt and she knows her sounds for dog, cat, horse, cow, chicken, owl, frog, pig, duck, skunk, crocodile and maybe more. Her teachers are great and she has learned so much. She can eve show you where her watch, hair, body parts, and bow are. She is sleeping from about 6:45-7 and about 2 hours during the day. Like my book said would happen, her appetite is decreasing. She will try most things. We had Cinnamon rolls this morning and she liked them ok, but loved cantaloupe and pineapple. She laughs a lot and likes to swim, run, hug etc. She weighs about 24+ lbs and is wearing 18-24 months clothes. And her shoe size is a 4.5-5 wide. She got Sugars feet. She still loves blues clues (she say "booos") and will do into a trance for Wonder Pets. We start swim lessons monday. They are everyday for 4-6 weeks. Trying the ISR technique. Anyone every done it? Suggestions? Hadley LOVES the water. Isn't afraid at all, which makes my Mom very nervous. I even let her go under in the pool when she wanted to get off the steps and she thought it was hilarious! Last summer she did NOT want her face or hair wet. So we'll see...
Only 2 weeks till summer and it seems busy already! I am taking 6 hours and have a week in Denton. We are going to get to see our Amarillo family a lot! Some vacations have been cancled but others are falling into place!
