This is my inspiration: its from Serena and Lily
www.serenaandlily.com It's the Caroline Duvet. They have fabulous things. Like Pottery Barn they show the whole room (or most of it) and that helps the design challenged like me.
My problem is Jared. He is "realistic" and "economical" and I am the opposite. SO its not feasible to pay a butt load of money for a 2 year old's duvet. I KINDA see his point, but whatever. My heart is set. So I put my limited skill set to work.
Looks pretty close doesn't it! It was HALF the price and includes sheets, duvet, shams and pillow cases! Guess where it is from....
are you sure you want to know?
I'm not ashamed...
but don't make fun...
WALMART!
Its the Cameo Marcheline Mint Bed in a Bag!
The furniture we are using it my old twin headboard, half dresser and armoire. I do not like the color (light wood) but haven't decided what color to paint it. White? Light Pink? Leave it solid or distress? and I still wonder is it too much for her 5x5 room? The bedding should be in today or tomorrow so decisions don't have to be made this morning.
I want to steal this idea for her 3 drawer dresser:
Its from New Traditionalist and I saw it on Little Green Notebook
Nate Burkus showed a black desk that was hot pink on the inside! I haven't decided how exactly I want to do this but that's my inspiration!

Maddie the bedding is amazing! I think distressed would be really pretty, not sure how hard that is. Her new room is going to be beautiful!!
Love it! You rock!
It will look so cute with that furniture! Even if you leave it as is -- it will look so cute! So precious!
Oh I love the inspiration, I can't wait to see what you do. I am still impressed with all the nursery craftiness you did!
