Fall is here!!! It's hard to believe it, because it's still 95 degrees outside. Which has put a damper on one of my favorite fall traditions... the turtleneck. Luckily the Gap loves me and made me a short sleeve version. Even my 9 year-olds say, "Mrs. Cypert- is that your favorite shirt?" I do love a turtleneck!
Since it has been so hot, i have found fall in the oddest places. Tonight while eating my easy mac for dinner it went down so warm, and I was snuggled up with my blanket. Every time i swallowed the warm cheesy goodness of easy mac made me feel like fall. (It could have also been that the thermostat is set on 65, but lets just pretend:))
Growing up we had a great fall tradition of making scarecrows with real pumpkin heads. Those of you who know us well, know we are a little strange, especially as children. Somehow we named our scarecrow the husband of Liberty. So Saturday night we went to Sugar and Big Nasty's for some football and family fun and tried to find a picture of the husband of liberty. While trying to explain to Clint that i needed a picture of the husband of liberty for the blog he was very confused and finally said " I don't get it! Who on earth is Liberty!"
So this is Liberty: (Please excuse the little fairies around him)
