I had been looking forward to ACU Homecoming for about 6 months! I had reservations and plans made! But as my mom says "Life happens." We had one of Jared's best friends engagement party and Jared's company picnic that we couldn't miss. I was super bummed and pouted for a good 2 weeks. Poor Jared couldn't do anything, it was loose loose for him. Fortunately we had an AWESOME weekend!
Friday was the across town 
football rivalry game so that meant BIG pep rally. It makes me SO GLAD I am not doing Cheerleading anymore! I treated myself to a Manicure and Pedicure on my way home :) Friday night we had made plans with Chris & Caroline and Scott & Nicole to go to the Late Night at the Dallas Museum of Art. We are going to be in the Dallas Observer! We were standing finishing our food listening to the orchestra and a photographer for the paper asked if he could take our picture. We had to sign the releases and everything! FAMOUS! We had dinner and looked around a bit... I almost busted in one of the galleries. The hem of my jeans has ripped and my heel got caught in it! Luckily Jared was there to catch me. Next we went to a bar in the GHETTO called Lee Harvey's. When I say ghetto, I mean south of I-30, a chop shop with razor wire on the fence next door and a pit bull guarding it!

I love that place! I kicks Jared's butt on the go-carts. I was not a fortunate on the slick track. I spent most of the time backwards waiting for someone to help me go the right direction. There was time for a nap and a run to the mall to grab an outfit for Scott and Nicole's engagement party in Lakewood Saturday night. And let me state for the record it was a FABULOUS OUTFIT! Its a juicy top/ too short for my age dress with sequins on the selves and hem. Dinner was at Matt's Ranchero and it was sooooooooo good! then we went to Cosmo's afterwards and here are some pics: (got a little camera happy)

So as you can tell it was a great party! We topped it off with a fun and relaxing Sunday! Went out for breakfast, ran some errands and peeked in the windows of our soon to be, less than 2 miles away neighbors new house... Justin and Lisa
