Bad Molly has done it again!
Wednesday was Corsicana day. Because Nonna and Pap are diabetic, yet still love sweets I decided to make them a Splenda Stadium Pound Cake. I have make stadium cakes before (super bowl, fathers day for dad) but since Pap was a huge football coach I thought he needed one too. I even worked on making a field on the computer instead of coloring paper green with lines! I found the Corsicana logo and put it in the center of the beautiful field with Tigers in the end zone. I dragged J to Walmart about 10 Tuesday night for the ingredients and stayed up late to make it. While I have not perfected the splenda and sugar exchange to make it unnoticeable, I was confident that this time, was THE time. I used the baking soda and powdered milk the splenda bag recommended but it looked like a wheat pound cake, still good though. J left for work at the usual 6:30 Wednesday morning. Molly sleeps in our room in the corner on her doggie bed. She needs boundaries. We put a baby gate at the end of our bedroom hall so she has our bedroom, bathroom and her doggie door to got tot he bathroom in the night. If she has free reign of the house she gets in to trouble (ex. pooping on the carpet in the front room). Most mornings she is too sleepy to get up with jared, she just gets into our bed on his pillow while he gets ready. Wednesday morning was different. She used her magical doggie powers to reach the pound cake that was pushed to the back of the counter. Fat dog at an entire endzone and side of bleachers!
I got home from a full day in Corsicana and Jared had been home a few minutes and I though more of the cake was gone but he spanked Molly so surely he ate it and she didn't. Then I get up this morning to this
THE FAT BAD DOG ATE THE WHOLE POUND CAKE!!!!!
