waiting and waiting

still pregnant...

I was POSITIVE I was in labor LAST Friday.  contractions were 15 minutes apart... then 10... then- they stopped. 

I am HUGE and miserable.  I have insomnia and its unreal.  I have never had anything close, in fact the last 30 years I have suffered from anti-insomnia or as my Dad calls it "lazy and could sleep 27 hours a day!" So this is new for me.  I ave lots of time from when Jared goes to bed about 10 till morning.  His alarm hasn't been working so I give him half-hour updates.  I wash my hair a lot, then dry it and flat iron it.  My eyebrows look fabulous and I am up to date on all my Internet shopping. (Gymboree has a GREAT sale right now).   It hurts to lay on my back and both sides and rolling over requires a fork lift.  Restless leg is beyond obnoxious. 

I am SHOCKED that I am still pregnant.  Jared is a good nurse and has me on house and couch arrest.  He "lets" me get out here and there but I get an ear full.  Since its Spring Break I let Hadley stay home this week too.  She has a bad cold so it was best anyway. 

This morning my parents stopped by en route to Corsicana and Hadley and I hitched a ride to visit Nonna.  I knew Jared would NOT let me drive myself and be an hour away from Dallas without proper supervisions so this worked well. Except Dad didn't want us to go and we did anyway.  He had some issues with the car seat and I don't have a house key to my own house (which was locked) but other than that it was a good visit! Hadley kept asking to see the "skools" and we were impressed with her interest in education facilities at such a young age, but she was actually talking about squirrels.  Have I mentioned speech therapy is in our future?


Hadley loves having her picture taken.  These days its done on my phone which works well for her because she can SEE herself as the picture is taken.  Since we had the real camera she REALLY wanted to "Say cheese" and "Take pick-sure"

Hopefully I'll be blogging within the week that we have a new baby!
(PS so far the name is "New Baby")
